Pete Harrison is an award winning digital artist and creative director from the United Kingdom freelancing under his online alias ‘Aeiko’. He has worked in both a studio environment and freelanced for the last 10 years in all fields of design, mainly digital art. He is an established designer at the forefront of digital illustration, defining several styles in his career. He continues to innovate at an exceptionally creative level in both corporate and cultural industries.
A regular contributor with many design magazine’s and blogs, Pete’s flair for colour and super balanced compositions have excited and inspired many digital art enthusiasts whilst catching the eye of new clients at the same time. His style is constantly evolving.
He wrote one of the most popular tutorials in digital art history and defined what people call ‘Aeiko style’ a blend of diffuse and displacement effects combined with his famous dynamic lighting techniques. Harrison continues to set trends and push the boundaries of digital art through a variety of platforms, but he is also the mastermind behind several popular online outlets, such as the Desktopography project and Funkrush clothing. As a graphic artist he has certainly made his mark, his love of street art and youth culture places him perfectly to create graphic pieces that have inspired many, while his attention to detail and his creative talents ensure that each project is taken care of with a personal flair expected of someone of his calibre.
